Hi everyone,

I created this website with the intentions of informing anyone who is looking for the Paleo diet information. I personally work out and exercise regularly, and was overall impressed with the results on my body fat percentage just by changing my eating habits to this format.

Having done a lot of research on diet and nutrition in the past because of my background as a natural athlete, I have tried many different methods and combinations of proteins to carbohydrates to fat ratios. High-fat and low-fat, different amount to no amount of carbohydrates, as well as testing different types and quantities of proteins throughout the day. Truly too many combinations to list.

Why this Diet Caught my Attention

This particular way of eating caught my attention because it quite simply made sense to me, and very much so. It’s not something that was being pushed by some group of nutritionists, or serious athletes or anyone else from any specific group or background. The evolutionary process in eating habits simply makes common sense to me, as it will to you, why you should eat this way and how to prep your meals. I found 2 really good cookbooks that really me helped very much.

From the very first week I felt my energy levels increasing. I wasn’t personally concerned with weight loss results as I have been exercising regularly for the past eight months and was pretty content with my own weight. However, without modifying anything in my workout regimen, my body fat percentage started to decrease.

How did my body react to the lifestyle transition

I seriously do not remember the last time I’ve experienced a couple of the things that I’m experiencing right now. I’m in what I have to say almost the best shape of my life. Only in my late teenage years was I slightly leaner and in better condition than I am right now, and may I add that back in the day, I was working out three times per day and I had no job. Mom and dad bought all my food, so all I had to worry about was exercising. Today I work out four days a week and I changed my eating habits and I feel great. I look great, so I’m told by my kids and their friends, even just by random people standing in the Starbucks line.

Would I recommend going Paleo now?

When people ask me to recommend different things that they should do in order to lean out, gain muscle, or a combination of both I have to give my highest recommendations right here on this topic. I once asked my family physician what can I eat to lean out, is there a specific meal plan I should follow and his answer was:” if it tastes good don’t eat it”.

That is not a joke, that was this highly trained Dr. response to my serious question. I think bananas taste good, should I stop eating that? What a dumb answer to my query. I then realized that doctors do have their place, butthe paleo diet recipe book what they learn in school now emphasizes the use of modern medicine and drugs to treat or mask symptoms and illnesses. The body is not built on drugs and medicine, it is built and repaired on consuming quality nutrients though food.

I have eaten over three dozen of these recipes now, they are very good tasting foods in the way that they are prepared. I have yet to eat a single meal from the paleo diet that has left me feeling sluggish or tired.
